Place: Tour a Niagara Winery

Cost: Depending on the vineyard you select and the type of activity you want to do, the cost can be anywhere between $5 - $100. So, there’s something for everyone!

If you want to partake in activities like Kayaking or Paddle boards, you can rent out the equipment at the beach at a reasonable price! If you go sometime in July or August, you might even catch a volleyball or sandcastle building competition.


Place: Rattlesnake Point

Travel time from Toronto: 1 hr

Cost: $7 (Provides access to all Halton Parks)

This one is for the hikers and nature lovers! There’s also Yoga in the park once a week during the summer. Or, if you’re an adrenaline junkie, there are 3 sites for rock climbing.


Place: Caledon

Travel Time from Toronto: 1 hr 30 mins.

Cost: $15 for Cider Tasting Tour – Saturdays at 3. Or go to their annual festival – May 25, 2019.

Spirit Tree Cidery, a craft cider brewery, is a popular tourist attraction in the cute village of Caledon. You can have a tasting tour, grab some lunch and walk around the village. Doesn’t that sound like a perfectly chill, low-key weekend getaway?
